I photographed the serie PROTECTION with my Hasselblad in 2006. Like I often do when I start a photo serie, I made sketches from girls with protection parts. I drew fragile (but with a purpose) factory/office girls who needed protection against (machine) noise, acids, fine dust and for the consequences of a poor work posture.The girls had to look pretty so the protection parts had to match their outfit. This was just an imaginary world, I did not seriously think it was going to be reality now.
The serie is nominated + received a Merit for the Panl#16 Awards (SO Awards) and Nominee International Colour Awards 2008, 2nd Masters cup.

The photo’s are printed on beautiful matt fine art Hahnemuhle paper, size 30x30cm. The photo’s can be framed in a matt handpainted very light gray frame or can be mounted on 3mm dibond.
